Unexpected Item in Bagging Area - NeurodiversityUK Bag Packers came to Tesco Castlebawn

Let me start this post with a Thank You, Thank you to Tesco Castlebawn for allowing us to come and raise awareness of our charity to your wonderful shoppers. Thank you to our team of volunteers on the day who made us proud, by sharing their stories and being brilliant bag packers, the feedback I received from customers stopping me to say that you were a credit to us - was the icing on the cake of a spectacular day.

Can I just say you all look fab in the above picture, Who you don't see because they are taking the photo is Debs one of our fundraising officers who works tirelessly to put all these events together. So Thank You, Debs!!!

Debs - Fundraising Officer

It was an incredibly busy day from start to stop and I lost count of how many people I spoke to quite quickly telling people my story and the people who engaged with me and told me their story thank you - You are the reason why we do these events to get the word out about who we are and how we can assist you. Ruth and Helen even burst into song at one point after a few people apologised about being unable to donate to us - which made us laugh because to us, Yes the money helps push forward the support we can give. Still, we want to raise awareness of who we are and what we can do to support not only the individuals, families and carers living with Neurological conditions but also the wider Neurodiverse community.

Ok, I am teasing you a bit just like our finance officer teased the whole team... Want to know how much your generosity raised for the charity...

We are blown away by your kindness, the money you have raised will help provide much-needed support to individuals, carers and families all living with Neurological conditions.

Again Thank You Tesco Castlebawn & We will see you in the not-so-distant future...
